Last Post

This post, the last one, is about my blogging experience and I have to say that this was my first blog experience.

I think these activities have a good part and a bad part. The good part was that every week (or almost) we have to write about a new topic and it was a challenge, because in some times was difficult to me to know what to put on my post (and Rodrigo was always giving me warnings because I was talking too much). On the other hand almost all the topics were fun and nobody was complaining about it saying "is a boring topic". Also I consider that been out of the classroom, that in this case is replaced by the computers room, is good because it comes out the normality of the other classes.

The bad part I think is the fact that the blogs don't allows you to improve significantly your english level because they wasen't so challenging as for example a conversation in english. Maybe this "blogging learning method" could be integrated with more oral activities to improve skills like the pronunciation.

Finally I consider that the blog experience was in overall a good exercise mainly because it help me to improve the redaction, one important skill that I normally don't use when it comes to communicate in english.

Free Topic... Free Ride

In this free topic I'm going to write about guess what... Bikes! (maybe my readers will quit instantaneosly but I really love bikes)

As I told you in my past post one of my biggest passions and my hobbie is the mountain biking (since kid I like bikes and I live near the mountains, wich I visit frecuently), but I really don't know how to define what I really do. The world of the mountain bike is very diverse and thanks to the technological advance today we have bikes for every ride stile. There are bikes focused on the ascent, bikes focused in the descent and of course some sort of hybrid who will do both. The only thing that I don't like about these bikes is their price because they are really expensive.

Now back to what I do, the favourite part of my rides are the descents. That puts me near to the discipline called Downhill or DHI, but one central part of this sport is the timed descent. I enjoy to go fast downhill but I have never been in a competition. Aside from the descenst I also like going uphill pedaling and push my physical resistance to the limit and try to get better on every ride (also I try to go fastest on every descent).

This particular stille of mountain biking can be called "All mountain" but some time ago it was also called called Free Ride. I will keep the second name because it represent better my way of seeing the spot like a way to break free and be conected with the nature.

Pinkbike!

As I mentioned in my past post one of my biggest passions are de bicycles and specially de mountain biking. I enjoy to ride my bike, but I also enjoy to repair it (because the descents are very aggressives with the bikes) and I try to know every news  about the mountain bike (new products and parts releases, results of the big competitions like world cups, etc.) and one internet site that allows me to know all the related with the last news of mountain biking is Pinkbike.

Pinkbike is a north american internet site (I'm not sure it is from USA or Canada) dedicated to all the topics related with mountain biking. I consider this site as a good knowledge source because it has the latests news about bike technology innovations like new materials, new parts, new bikes or equipment but it also teach you some basic knowledge about bike mechanics.

Another important thing about the site is that the users can upload pictures of their bikes showing their configurations, creativity and changes. Also every day the website is updated with videos of people practicing mountain bike. This persons can be normal users that sees MTB like a hobbie or professional riders that are filmed in big competitions like the World Cup made by the Union Cycliste Internationale.

Who I'am?

Hello!

One of my biggest passions of life are the bicycles, specially the mountain bikes (MTB) because it also conects you with the nature. I have been practicing MTB for several years traying to doing Downhill because I love to reach high speeds and jump with mi bike.

Another thing that I enjoy to do is play videogames, specially the ones that have multiplayer to compete with or agains my friends.

I want you to hit me as hard as you can...

Todays topic is about my favourite movie, and I will write about Fight Club. Fight Club is a 1999 movie directed by David Fincher based in a novel with the same name written by Chuck Palahniuk. The film is starring by Edward Norton, Brad Pitt and Helena Boham Carter. The first time I saw this movie was when I was in my last year of school, because a work, and I immediately love it. In fact is one of the few movies that I buy a copy (Thank you Internet!).

Warning: SPOILER ALERT!

The plot is about a insomniac worker of a car insurance company wich requires treatment to a doctor for his trouble, but he suggest him to visit a support group to see some real suffer and he join a testicular cancer group. Also he join other support gruops and his "tour" meet Marla, a trobled woman who lives of the free food given for those groups.

When he was returning from a work trip in a plane he meets Tyler, an artesanal soap seller who will transform the imsomniac narrators live, because when he arrived to his home he was noticed that was consumed by fire, so he decided to move with his recent meet friend Tyler, but they go to a bar to talk about it.

When they leave the bar, Tyler said: "I want you to hit me as hard as you can" and they repeat that behavior weekly and some people join them, so this way they found the Fight Club.

I'm not going to talk more about the plot in case some of the readers haven't watched the movie.
